dp motorsport have established a new world record for a street legal Nissan Gti-R. Sunday the 1st of August, saw the 3rd running of 'Ten of the Best' where only the cream of Europe's modified cars are invited to race for the various titles. Jason Gant ran a dp motorsport prepared Gti-R to a record breaking 11.09 sec 1/4 mile and backed the time up with 11.13 and 11.19 second runs.

The car which is fully road legal and is used by Jason as his road car, features an extensively modified engine and is used as the development car for many of the Gti-R parts we sell.
Plus, most people at 'Ten of the Best' agreed, given a bit of a cooler day this car could have done something in the 10's. Roll on a cooler day :)
